Storyteller

Life took me to California, Nevada, and Arizona for some time, but I found myself settling back into my home state of Montana eight years ago and have been here ever since.

The simple things I live for:

Driving down backroads. Snowboarding. Climbing. Hiking. Waterfalls. Crisp mountain air. Sipping Bourbon or a glass of wine. My Shiba Inu, Nova. Sunsets. Good music. Good company. Photography.

My Process

Nature-Inspired Fine Art

I fell in love with landscape photography when I moved back to Montana. At the time, I was living in Bozeman and didn't know any one, so I spent my free time wandering down dirt roads and taking photographs. That's where I discovered panoramas and their innate ability for expansion and intimacy.

A panorama is "an unbroken view of the whole region surrounding an observer", as defined by the Oxford Dictionary. My panoramic landscapes are a series of single frame images that I stitch together to create the final photograph.

Panoramic images are my preferred method of displaying the Earth's beauty from my perspective. It feels as if the process of capturing an image unlocks my peripheral vision - it allows me to spend time getting to know the subject that I'm photographing. Through panoramas, I am able to witness and showcase the landscape's fine details while also capturing the scene in a way that enables the viewer to experience its full potential.
